Our original product, THE BOOK - Bible Illuminated, New and Old Testament as its name proclaims, is a bright, dynamic and visually arousing interpretation of the Bible. Intermixed with Scripture are vivid images, all meant to inspire discussion, instigate the interchange of opinions and spread awareness of the Bible. 

Illuminated World’s formula of juxtaposing modern elements alongside ancient text and applying it to different products and formats will create an entirely new category within the industry. We illuminate across many media channels; publishing, online, digital, merchandise, events, entertainment and syndicated content.

Förlaget Illuminated Sweden AB, a group of business partners, not affiliated with any organized religion, originally published THE BOOK in 2007. The Swedish-language volumes were widely acclaimed and achieved unprecedented sales. The sales began within boutique stores, fashion retailers, trendy hotels, design stores and art galleries, and was also sold in major book retailers. Displayed on coffee tables across the country and read on subways as if it was the latest issue of People, THE BOOK was being purchased and read by Swedes of every denomination, religion, ethnicity, gender and socio-economic background. The launch in Sweden increased the market for bibles by almost 50 percent without cannibalizing normal bible sales. Today, the Swedish Church recognizes The Book as an accepted Bible.

THE BOOK was introduced in the United States in November 2008. Although we hit the stands during the toughest times of the century, we were able to successfully market, sell and distribute The Book and are currently being carried in all major retail outlets such as Borders, Barnes & Nobles, Amazon, as well as on our own website.

We have had tremendous media coverage with over 250 print, online, radio & TV articles worldwide. We have been featured in New York Times, CNN, Wall Street Journal, BBC, NPR, Steve Colbert to name a few, all of our press can be found on our website, www.bibleilluminated.com.

We are currently engaged with publishing, online, event, audio/video and continuity marketing companies as we continue the development of Illuminated World. In all instances, across all media platforms we are continually asked for our “plan” and reminded of the many product extensions that are a natural fit for our brand.
